11 teams have been disclosed, aiming to join Euroleague for a long time

Eleven professional sports teams have been selected following an initial expression of interest from more than 20 organizations. These chosen teams are collectively aiming to generate substantial financial backing for the league. The financial structure includes a total franchise fee of 700 million euros, supported by a projected overall investment of up to 3.2 billion euros over five years.

According to reports from the Greek portal Sport24, the financial proposals submitted by each of the participating teams fall within a range of 60 to 100 million euros. Among the notable contenders is the Salonika PAOK team, which has reportedly offered 80 million euros specifically for participation in the Euroleague. Another team mentioned is the London Lions, which is currently coached by Tautvydas Sabonis.

The commitment from these selected teams underscores the league’s anticipated market value and growth potential.
