It turned out that the cheapest place to fill up before Lithuanian Independence Day is different: the differences are big, so some people should change their plans.

Fuel selling companies provide daily updates on fuel prices at their various stations, with this information becoming available by 10 a.m. The official publication platform for these rates is the en.lt website. As fuel prices at stations can fluctuate multiple times throughout the day, consumers are advised to check the latest listings.

On June 22, the reported fuel prices showed variation across different locations. For diesel, the lowest prices were recorded at the Utentra station in Utena, the Alauša network station in Utena, and two Baltic Petroleum stations located in Kaunas and Klaipėda, all priced at 1.659 Eur/l. Conversely, the highest diesel price was observed at the Pakelės namai station in the Pasvalys district (Škilinpamūšio k.), reaching 1.94 Eur/l.

These daily updates are crucial for consumers managing transportation costs. Beyond domestic variations, global fuel market dynamics are also influencing pricing. Separately, international news reported that the United States had shot down several Iranian drones, which contributed to heightened awareness regarding global energy security and potential impacts on international fuel supplies.
