The wind that raged in Lithuania tore down trees: it is reported that the most damage was caused there

The Department of Fire Protection and Rescue reported various incidents across several districts, noting specific counts for different areas: Klaipėda district recorded 24 incidents, followed by Marijampolė with 9, Alytus with 8, Kaunas with 6, Tauragė with 4, Utena with 3, and Vilnius and Šiauliai districts each reporting 1. In relation to structural hazards, firefighters reported multiple instances where trees fell on vehicles in Vilnius, Klaipėda, and Palanga. For example, at 15:52 in Klaipėda, a tree fell onto a car on Minijos street.

Responders utilized chainsaws to remove the obstruction, clearing the tree from both the vehicle and the roadway. Separately, sinopticians have issued a weather advisory, forecasting a period of warmer conditions. However, they caution the public about unpredictable weather patterns.

Warnings include potential storms, high winds, and heavy rainfall. Authorities advise residents that the region may experience precipitation equivalent to an entire month within a single week, necessitating preparedness for rapidly changing atmospheric conditions.
