A two-vehicle accident occurred in Vilnius on Friday afternoon, resulting in injuries to two women. According to reports, the incident took place around 1:20 p.m. on Jogailos street when a 55-year-old man operating a Toyota Prius reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collide with a stop.

One of the injured parties is a 23-year-old woman. She was transported to the Republican Vilnius University Hospital, where she was admitted to the Reanimation and Intensive Care Unit. As of Saturday morning, a spokesperson for the Police Department’s Communications Department confirmed that the woman was in critical condition.

Revita Janavičiūtė, the police spokesperson, informed the media that the authorities were awaiting updated medical assessments regarding the girl’s condition. The police department stated that they would continue to liaise with medical professionals to obtain the most current information. The initial response from the police was managing the scene and ensuring medical aid reached the victims.
