A man was injured in a fire in the Tauragė district – he was taken to the hospital

Reports detail multiple incidents involving residential fires across different districts. According to the Department of Fire Protection and Rescue, a significant fire occurred at 9:58 a.m. in a residential building located in the Tauragė district, specifically in the Dauglaukio village area on Tvenkinio street.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed the structure burning with open flames, noting that the roof was damaged and the chimney had collapsed. The fire spread throughout the interior rooms of the house. One individual sustained burn injuries and was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

The incident was investigated using thermal imaging equipment. Separately, another fire incident was reported on Thursday within the Alytus district. Firefighters received a report at 12:17 a.m.

regarding a structure fire in a residential building situated in the Daugų district, on Maironio street in Daugų city. At the time of the emergency response, the building was actively burning. In this instance, a woman was taken to a medical facility after being treated for potential smoke poisoning.

Both events highlight the ongoing risk posed by uncontrolled fires in residential areas across the region. Authorities continue to investigate the precise causes of these structural fires in both districts.
