In March 2024, case data indicates that a 32-year-old man from Kaunas, accompanied by a 31-year-old, arrived in Gargždai. The pair reportedly purchased fuel, which was subsequently used to ignite a familiar person’s vehicle.
The resulting fire completely destroyed the targeted car, and an adjacent vehicle sustained damage, leading to total losses exceeding 9.5 thousand euros. A few months later, in May 2024, the 31-year-old man was involved in a confrontation in Gargždai. He blocked a roadway with his car, impeding a resident leaving his home.
During this dispute, the man allegedly accused the other individual of gathering information concerning a motorcycle club and issued a threat involving arson, pointing toward the man’s residence. Separately, the Klaipėda police are investigating an incident captured on video footage. The footage reportedly shows a 26-year-old Klaipėdians man physically assaulting and beating another man in a public area.
