Sh. and S. S., authorities discovered a large quantity of various psychotropic substances.
The initial police inquiry uncovered that the illicit materials were not merely packaged but had been systematically prepared. Evidence indicated that Indian and Pakistani citizens were responsible for impregnating the psychotropic substances onto standard A4-format paper sheets. This process utilized specialized tools and methods designed to conceal the drugs.
To bypass customs controls, these impregnated sheets were ingeniously hidden within secret compartments built into the parcels themselves. The sheer volume of the contraband, totaling nearly 2 kilograms (approximately 1780.3 grams), suggests an organized effort to smuggle controlled substances out of the region. The discovery in Vilnius highlighted sophisticated methods employed by international criminal networks attempting to move illegal narcotics to destinations such as Bahrain.
