A recent study titled “We are not at home: Ukrainian migrants and refugees about their relations with Poles” was published following detailed interviews conducted by Olena Babakova and Przemyslaw Sadura, professors at the University of Warsaw. The research surveyed 25 individuals, comprising a diverse group of Ukrainian migrants and refugees spanning various ages, genders, professional backgrounds, and migration histories. The sample included 14 Ukrainian war refugees who arrived in Poland at the onset of the large-scale Russian invasion in February 2022, alongside 11 migrants who had established residency in the country prior to the conflict.
Separately, reports detailed ongoing developments in Poland’s foreign and defense policy. In connection with the dispute involving Ukraine, political commentary was offered by R. Sikorski regarding the current geopolitical climate.
Furthermore, Poland is reportedly continuing negotiations concerning the acquisition of Swedish submarines. The nation is also proceeding with discussions regarding the establishment of the first permanent United States military base within its borders. These reports cover various aspects of Polish internal stability and external security commitments.
