Financial disclosures for several members of the Seimas have revealed notable changes in declared assets and financial holdings between reporting periods. Linas Jonavičius, the Social Democrat serving as chairman of the Environment Protection Committee, reported a substantial increase in his overall assets and deposited funds. His declared wealth rose significantly, moving from 216 thousand to exceeding 650 thousand euros.
Regarding his primary residence, the reported value of the property changed from 205 thousand euros in the previous year to zero in the latest filing. Conversely, his recorded debts saw a reduction of nearly 10 thousand euros, settling at just over 160 thousand euros. Separately, Vytautas Grubliauskas, a Social Democrat and chairman of the Future Committee, also submitted detailed financial statements.
Last year, his declarations included real estate valued at more than 85 thousand euros, 6,184 euros in government securities, and 45,636 euros held in credit institutions. When considering his combined assets with his wife, the total value of their holdings demonstrated an increase surpassing 267 thousand euros over the reporting cycle. These figures illustrate the varying levels of change in the declared assets of the respective parliamentarians.
