During the response to the intense fire, a firefighter was able to rescue a man who had lost consciousness inside a vehicle. Following the successful extinguishment of the blaze, the affected premises underwent thorough ventilation procedures, requiring the deployment of two positive-pressure ventilators to ensure safety.
The incident resulted in significant structural damage. The fire destroyed the industrial premises entirely, caused damage to sections of the outer walls composed of foam polystyrene insulation material, resulted in broken window glass, and led to the burning of a portion of the roof. Authorities confirmed that the swift intervention of the fire brigade was critical in controlling the spread of the fire within the Kaunas facility.
