“European Sails 2026” invites to apply: projects will be evaluated by previous year’s winners

The landscape of national development is currently witnessing an increase in initiatives aimed at transformative change across multiple sectors. Over the past year, the number of proposed projects designed to enhance education, stimulate business growth, improve public services, and strengthen community bonds has continued to rise. What unites these diverse ventures is not their field of operation or the scale of their originating organization, but rather their proven capacity to translate ambitious objectives into tangible, measurable outcomes.

In recognition of this wave of innovation, a major competition is currently accepting applications for ambitious projects. These initiatives are eligible for financing through significant European Union investment funds and the dedicated “New Generation Lithuania” program. Prospective applicants are advised that the submission deadline for these vital projects is July 20.

Participation is open to innovative works and groundbreaking projects that contribute to the advancement of Lithuania. The scope of eligible projects is broad, encompassing those that draw funding from the 2021-2027 EU investment programs, alongside support available through the “New Generation Lithuania” plan. Crucially, applicants are informed that the projects do not need to be fully completed at the time of submission; applications detailing ongoing or nascent projects are also accepted.

This mechanism is designed to capture momentum and support development at various stages. The call serves as a platform to consolidate and accelerate the development of critical infrastructure and services for the coming year.
