World and European champion V. Grybė, who leads the VG Shooting Academy, commented on the demanding conditions of a recent shooting competition, noting the combination of highly skilled competitors and challenging environmental heat exceeding 36 degrees Celsius. Grybė expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of the entire team.

During the event held at the Sologne Shooting Club facility, the Lithuanian team demonstrated high levels of mastery across the shooting course. In the overall team ranking, the Lithuanian contingent secured shared 12th to 13th place with the Belgian team. Individual performances highlighted the team’s capabilities: Simas Petraitis achieved a score of 189 out of 200, while Aleksandr Derbin and Tomas Momkus each scored 184 targets out of 200.

Akvilina Zabielienė placed 31st among the women, scoring 173 targets out of 200. The competition saw a clear winner in Frenchman Charles Bardou, who delivered excellent results from his home shooting facility. The results underscore the competitive nature of modern shooting sports.

The strong showing by the Lithuanian team in this demanding international setting highlights their continued dedication to precision and skill development within the sport.
