In Vilnius, they are building the most advanced cell therapy center in the Baltic region and investing in the production of new-generation anticancer drugs

A new facility is currently under construction within the “Northway” development area of the “Bio City III” project, which continues the expansion of biotechnology infrastructure. This new building will be the second structure in this complex; a specialized biotechnology logistics center was previously established at the site. To date, the “Northway” group has developed two biotechnology production buildings within the “Bio City I” complex.

Furthermore, the “Bio City II” area already hosts the gene therapy center, “Celltechna.” The investment allocated for this new center totals 61 million euros. Financing for the project is sourced through private funds alongside a loan provided by ILTE “Milijardas verslui.”

Stakeholders involved in the development expressed pride in contributing to such a large-scale undertaking. The development aims to establish infrastructure that reinforces Lithuania’s standing as an international hub for high technology and innovation.

The expansion across the various “Bio City” sites, including the addition of this new bio-center, underscores a concerted effort to strengthen the nation’s technological base.
