G. Nausėda granted amnesty to Klaipėdian R. Alijev, who was shot by her husband – the punishment was reduced by 3 years

A pardon was reportedly granted following the Malonės komisijos (Moral Commission) meeting held in June, which reviewed various requests and recommendations. Procedurally, the Supreme Court of Lithuania (LAT) rejected a complaint filed by the woman imprisoned for her spouse in December 2025. Subsequently, the cassation court ruled that the imposed punishment was not unduly severe.
