Fashioneer opted to host a non-traditional event to introduce the city to its concept. This new generation fashion platform integrates the services of renting, buying, and reselling clothing in a single location, aiming to encourage an appreciation for items as lasting narratives. According to Fashioneer founder Zalkina Aispariene, the presentation needed to be more dynamic than a conventional setting.
“If we believe that fashion needs to move, we couldn’t present it in a closed room. That’s why we brought it to the city,” she stated. A highlight of the event was a dance performance specially curated for Fashioneer by the studio “Aušrinė.” Attendees were impressed not only by the choreography but also by the accompanying music.
The narrative presented during the performance included a segment titled “When the music was born in the closet,” which focused on an unexpected creative genesis. The presentation also featured an individual, K. Liukaitytė, discussing her career transitions, including her departure from television, wedding industry involvement, and a collection of weapons.
This segment emphasized that the creation of the subject matter was not derived from traditional sources such as musical instruments or bridal wear collections, aligning with the platform’s broader idea of reimagining fashion’s lifecycle.
