In Jonava, bullets were thrown at police officers, and in Kaišiadorys, a phone was thrown at them

On June 14th, at approximately 2:15 a.m. in Guronių village, Kaišiadorys, a man born in 1991 engaged in disruptive behavior. Reports indicate that the individual used obscene language, resisted police officers, and threw a mobile phone at an officer.

No injuries were reported among the responding police personnel. This incident follows a more serious event that took place the previous Saturday evening in Jonava. During that earlier incident, a man reportedly shot at police officers while intoxicated.

The suspect attempted to conceal himself inside a residence. However, officers from the Police Antiterrorist Operations Unit “Aras” were able to gain entry to the house. It was later determined that the man involved in the Jonava incident was, in fact, a police officer stationed in the Kaišiadorys area.
