In Kelmė, a car hit a pedestrian, and in Varėna, a cyclist was hit by a car

Two separate traffic incidents involving vehicles and individuals were reported in Lithuania. In Kelmė, an accident occurred at approximately 3:08 AM on Plento street. A woman, born in 1957, who was reportedly intoxicated, was driving an Opel Zafira.

While operating the car, she reportedly hit a pedestrian on the road connecting Kelmė, Gaštynai, Kalniškiai, and Klėtiškė. The injured pedestrian received medical attention at clinics in Kaunas. A second incident took place later that morning, around 3:25 PM, in Panaros village within the Varėna district.

At this location, a collision occurred as a man operating a bicycle exited a private yard. The cyclist failed to properly navigate around a car driven by another man, resulting in a collision. The report also noted several other recent local traffic incidents, including an accident in Šiauliai where a minor cyclist was injured, and a separate crash in the Šalčininkų district involving a 15-year-old motorcyclist and a 14-year-old cyclist in Biržai.

Furthermore, an incident involving a 92-year-old cyclist resulted in injuries. These reports highlight varied traffic incidents across different regions.
