Algirdas Vosylius, a notable figure in Lithuanian football, has passed away, according to an announcement made by the “Lietuvos futbolas” Facebook account. The announcement also conveyed condolences to his family and acquaintances. Vosylius, who was born in Kaunas, began his professional playing career nearly six decades ago with the Vilnius “Spartak” master team.

He concluded his playing days with the “Žalgiris” team. Throughout his playing career, his time as a striker was impacted by injuries, resulting in him featuring in 90 matches and scoring 30 goals for the master team. Following his retirement from playing, the coach began working in coaching.
