Authorities stated that a man, identified as being born in 1983, was involved in an attempt to steal merchandise from a local store. According to police reports, the man, who was visibly drunk and tested positive for a blood alcohol concentration of 3.72%, proceeded to remove several items of alcohol using a shopping cart.
The individual left the premises without paying for the alcoholic beverages. Store security personnel intervened and detained the man at the scene. The value of the stolen alcohol was determined to be 519.33 euros.
Following the detention, the merchandise was recovered and returned to the store. The suspect, described by police as a drunk individual, was subsequently taken into custody for further questioning regarding the theft. The incident highlights local law enforcement’s response to public disorder and theft involving controlled substances.
