The Vilnius Regional Police Directorate (VRPK) has confirmed that an incident of theft occurred at a residential flat located on S. Konarskio street in Vilnius. Authorities were notified regarding the break-in, which took place between the late afternoon of June 26 and the evening of June 28.
According to the report filed with the VRPK, the occupants discovered that valuables had been stolen from the premises. The missing items included various pieces of gold jewelry and a sum of approximately 500 euros in cash. Preliminary assessments indicate that the total value of the stolen property amounts to about 10.5 thousand euros.
Following the discovery, law enforcement initiated a preliminary investigation to determine the circumstances of the crime. Police sources confirmed that the investigation is currently active, focusing on gathering evidence related to the intrusion and the loss of assets. The investigation aims to identify any potential suspects connected to the theft that occurred within the Vilnius district.
The VRPK has advised residents to remain vigilant regarding property security, especially when leaving residences unattended. Officials stated that the investigation will continue to process leads and analyze any evidence recovered from the scene to pursue the recovery of the stolen goods and the apprehension of those responsible.
