In the Ralis „Aplink Lietuvą“ – teniso, golf, motociklų ir automobilių sporto sportininkai iš dešimties šalių

The annual “Aplink Lietuvą” rally, while celebrating a long history that dates back to 1931, is marking its 35th iteration this year. The event, known for its challenging and winding courses, concludes with the winners receiving the President’s Cup. At the starting line, participants from ten European nations are gathered.

The Lithuanian Automobile Club (LAK), the organization responsible for coordinating the rally since its inception, is particularly notable as this year also commemorates the 100th anniversary of the activity. Organizers anticipate a strong turnout, with participants from ten countries on the continent set to begin the rally near the Soboro in Kaunas this Friday. Dariusz Grinberg, one of the rally organizers, noted that despite application deadlines approaching, the expected number of participants in the FIA Eco Rally Cup Lithuania is likely to increase.

He also indicated that his own involvement in the rally is set to expand. The rally continues to draw international interest, solidifying its place on the European motorsports calendar. The combination of historical significance, challenging Lithuanian tracks, and growing international participation ensures the “Aplink Lietuvą” rally remains a significant fixture in the region’s sporting events.
