A separate incident occurred on May 29, 2026, at 14:48 in Kretinga, where a cyclist born in 1954 was found to be drunk, registering a BAC of 0.56 promille. These reports highlight ongoing enforcement activities targeting intoxicated behavior among road users. The incidents demonstrate varying levels of impairment among those apprehended.

Authorities continue to enforce traffic safety regulations, issuing citations to those found operating machinery while under the influence of alcohol, whether driving a car or cycling.
