It was revealed what really killed the star of popular Lithuanian serials

Prior to the passing of the actress, E. Irtem, there were initial concerns regarding her health following an incident involving a monkey during her vacation in Thailand. E.

Irtem herself had mentioned receiving preventive medication after the encounter. Her lawyer, Ugur Gokkoyunas, confirmed that the actress was indeed bitten by a monkey on May 27 during her trip. Consequently, she began a prescribed 21-day preventive treatment course, which she later discontinued safely after 11 days.

However, the findings from the official autopsy report indicated that the monkey bite was not the cause of her death. Instead, the report concluded that E. Irtem died from alcohol poisoning.

Medical experts analyzing the body determined that the concentration of alcohol in her system was 395 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dl). This level is significantly elevated, representing nearly eight times the legal driving limit established in Turkey, which is set at 50 mg/dl. Such a high concentration of alcohol is medically recognized as dangerous.

The autopsy report definitively established that the cause of death was intoxication, rather than complications arising from the animal bite sustained during her travels.
