According to preliminary data, the company reported a significant turnaround in its financial performance for the first half of 2026. EBITDA reached 52.5 million euros, marking a substantial recovery compared to the prior year, which recorded a loss of 40.3 million euros. Furthermore, adjusted EBITDA increased by 12%, totaling 29.9 million euros, while the adjusted net profit saw a 40% increase, reaching 20.2 million euros.
The revenue growth was primarily attributed to increased revenues from electricity transmission services, which rose to 79.9 million euros. Additionally, the income from balancing and balancing electricity services doubled, amounting to 97.2 million euros. During the first half of the year, the company committed 61 million euros toward the development of its electricity transmission network.
Focusing on infrastructure development, Litgrid stated that ongoing efforts are directed toward establishing the second land connection with Poland, known as Harmony Link. This project is intended to increase intersystemic electricity trading capacity and facilitate further development within the region. These investments underscore the company’s commitment to strengthening regional energy interconnectivity.
