Maintenance operations are scheduled to commence in early July on a specific 14-kilometer section of the Panevėžys-Aristava-Sitkūnai main road. This crucial stretch, spanning from kilometer markers 32.75 to 46.82, traverses the territory of the Kėdainių district, originating near the border of the Kaunas and Panevėžys districts. The undertaking is contracted to the firm “HISK,” which has committed to completing the necessary work by the close of the current year.

According to the contractor, the current condition of the road surface within this designated section necessitates significant repair. Observed damages include various types of cracking—both transverse and longitudinal—along with numerous potholes and patches. Furthermore, parts of the curbing have been compromised by vegetation growth.

The scope of the planned repairs is comprehensive. The maintenance procedures will involve the sealing of existing cracks to prevent further deterioration. Additionally, damaged areas of the road surface will undergo professional freewriting and subsequent repair.
