No one resisted the Lithuanian unit in Estonia: it won everywhere it started as a typhoon

Kasparas Kažemėkas secured the victory in the Cross Car Mini class. Kažemėkas had previously experienced a mechanical issue during practice sessions, specifically an engine failure involving a hole in the engine. The event marked the first Dakar participation for Dovydas Karka.

The competition operates under an established gentleman’s code of conduct. Rokas Baciuška returned to rally cross, commencing his participation in the FIA European Championship. Lithuania has no prior experience hosting such an event, as a world championship village is being constructed in Mickūnai park.

Despite this, the local team remained highly engaged, transporting an additional truck overnight from Vencpil. On Saturday, the young Lithuanian competitor started with clear intent to compete for top rankings. During the final stages, the Lithuanian driver initially secured second place.

However, through a strategic maneuver, he overtook Latvian competitor Marta Skusta to claim first place. He maintained this leading position until the conclusion of the checkered flag. The third-place finish was achieved by another competitor.

This championship showcased the depth of local talent in the cross discipline.
