“Pigu.lt”: demand for school products has doubled

In anticipation of the upcoming academic year, Pigu.lt has observed an early surge in activity among parents, students, and educators. Nerijus Mikalajūnas, Head of Communications at Pigu.lt, stated that the company is maintaining its promotional efforts by offering an extensive selection of special deals.

These offerings cover a wide spectrum of items, ranging from basic stationery and backpacks to more substantial electronics and home appliances designed for students. Recent sales data from the platform indicates strong consumer purchasing habits. During the last week, the average transaction value for school products on Pigu.lt reached approximately €24.

On an item-by-item basis within this category, the average customer expenditure was €16. A breakdown of spending patterns reveals specific areas of consumer focus. For instance, school and sports bags combined with pencils saw an average spend of €36.

Covers represented a significant purchase category, averaging €34. Maps and textbooks averaged €19, while pencils were purchased on average for €16, and general office products averaged €11. These metrics underscore the current demand for essential back-to-school items available through pigu.
