R. Motuzas does not think that K. Budrys will hold the post: there is no chemistry between M. Sinkevičius and K. Budrys

During an interview with “Radio žinios,” R. Motuzas addressed questions concerning the continued ministerial status of Kęstutis Budrys while Lithuania held the chairmanship of the European Union Council. Motuzas initially indicated uncertainty regarding the matter.

However, despite the ambiguity surrounding his role, the parliamentarian expressed no dissatisfaction with the current leadership provided by the Lithuanian diplomat. As the head of the Parliamentary Information and Coordination Office, Motuzas offered a strong endorsement of Budrys’s work ethic. He stated that, in his capacity as committee chairman, he could not voice any complaints regarding Kęstutis Budrys.

Motuzas characterized him as a minister who actively communicates and cooperates with members of parliament. Furthermore, he noted Budrys’s eagerness to articulate his positions and secure support from various political factions, including the Social Democratic Party. According to Motuzas, Budrys is highly responsive to inquiries, readily adjusts to meeting schedules, and provides a substantial amount of detailed information.

The discussion surrounding Budrys’s standing suggests that the political interest in his status extends beyond the Social Democratic Party. The conversation centered on the general political environment and the ongoing discussions about his influence within the governmental structure.
