K. Fastas is set to take on a key leadership role at Revolut Bank, overseeing the bank’s operations across the European Economic Area (EEA). Fastas brings extensive experience in the financial sector, having previously spent seven years at JPMorgan Chase.
During his tenure at JPMorgan Chase, his responsibilities encompassed international retail banking, and he notably served as the CEO of Chase UK’s digital bank. Before his time at JPMorgan Chase, Fastas held senior roles at mBank SA in Poland and was also a partner with the consulting firm McKinsey & Company. Academically, he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
This appointment comes as Revolut is undergoing a strategic transition within Europe. The bank is currently moving toward a two-branch operational model on the continent. As part of this strategy, Revolut is pursuing a banking license in France.
The establishment of a Western European branch in Paris, alongside the existing Vilnius branch, is intended to serve the bank’s European clientele. K. Fastas’s leadership will guide the bank’s efforts as it solidifies its physical and operational presence across the EEA.
