Special event at Lukiškių Jail: “Katarsis” shining in Eurovision won’t leave anyone indifferent

The alternative music group, which has cultivated a significant following both in Lithuania and internationally, was received with considerable enthusiasm upon their return. Given that the members, who have previously undertaken several European tours, had not performed in Lithuania, local music enthusiasts eagerly anticipated the concert in Vilnius. The band, known as Katarsis, recently debuted their album, Žiedlapis tau, earlier this year.

During the performance, the group showcased not only material from the new record but also several of their previously popular songs. Members Tadas Gryn and Toma Vaškevičiūtė reflected on their journey, discussing various career milestones. They noted that the album release, participation in the Eurovision stage, and subsequent European tours represented significant professional focuses.

They stated that the attention directed toward the group’s work and history was considerable. The success of securing concerts in European clubs and concert halls, they added, speaks volumes about the group’s creative depth and overall history. The anticipation surrounding the performance was palpable, making the homecoming a highly awaited event for the devoted fanbase.
