He noted that much of the information collected is already public, including details such as professional licenses, names, surnames, and the institutions where professionals are employed, asserting that this information is not confidential. However, Žentelis highlighted specific categories of data that pose a greater risk if exposed. These sensitive elements include personal codes, employment load details, and contact information, such as residential addresses and email accounts.
He indicated that the loss of this specific type of data would represent the main concern should a leak occur. In response to the discussion, Viceminister A. Galdikas affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to technological advancement in the sector.
He confirmed that efforts are actively underway toward strengthening the overall electronic health ecosystem.
