Rimantas Cibauskas, the President of the Lithuanian Student Basketball League (LSKL), organized a ceremony following the conclusion of the 19th LSKL championship. Cibauskas highlighted the significance of the occasion, noting that welcoming teams returning with gold medals has become a valued tradition. He mentioned that over the years, this recognition has taken place more than a dozen times.

Speaking about the event, Cibauskas praised the level of play demonstrated by the participants. He stated that the teams reaffirmed the high standard of Lithuanian student basketball, citing the evident desire for victory and exceptional fighting spirit, which was further demonstrated during the final rematch. Cibauskas characterized the victorious team as an inspiration, calling them an example of how to achieve objectives.

Furthermore, he acknowledged their role as ambassadors for both student basketball and Lithuania. He expressed gratitude for the positive emotions generated and for promoting the sport nationally. The recognition followed the championship win by Arvydo Sabonio basketball center, which concluded the 19th LSKL tournament.
