The contract for the Rūdninkų military town came into effect – construction is already underway

Preparatory work on the second stage of a national infrastructure project has been completed, with technical documentation currently being processed. In a statement, the Minister of National Defence, Robertas Kaunas, stated that Lithuania is proceeding with a strategic project of national importance, underscoring the country’s commitment to its own security and to its allies, including Germany. He noted that the pace of the work has been positively acknowledged by German partners on multiple occasions.

The execution of the second stage of this project will be managed by a consortium comprising “Conres,” “INVL Asset Management (INVL),” and “Fegda.” Within this group, “Conres” and “Fegda” are responsible for the implementation, supervision, and overall management of the project, while INVL serves as the financial partner. Furthermore, the development contract for the Rūdninkų military town has been signed, detailing the state’s payment structure for the contractors involved. This consortium structure was established to facilitate the continuation of this significant national undertaking.

The coordinated effort among the involved entities underscores the commitment to advancing our strategic goals and maintaining strong cooperative relations with our allies.
