The forecast from the meteorologists: the temperature will be scorching in Lithuania on Sunday

The Lithuanian Hydrometeorology Service has issued weather forecasts for the upcoming days. For Sunday, conditions are expected to be clear and dry. Winds are forecast to be light during the night, shifting to a southwest direction in the afternoon with speeds of 4–9 m/s.

Temperatures are predicted to range from 15–20 degrees at night, climbing to 31–36 degrees during the day. Coastal areas are expected to be slightly cooler, with temperatures between 27–30 degrees. Monday’s forecast includes periods of light rain and thunderstorms.

Nighttime winds are expected to remain light, while afternoon winds will come from the west or northwest at 6–11 m/s. Overnight temperatures are predicted to be 18–23 degrees, with daytime highs reaching 32–37 degrees, though western regions may see temperatures around 26–31 degrees. The day following Monday is also forecasted for light rain and thunderstorms as heat approaches.

Nighttime temperatures are expected between 16–21 degrees, while daytime highs are predicted up to 26–31 degrees, with the western part of the country experiencing 22–25 degrees. Furthermore, forecasters noted that Saturday, despite being hot, will see light rain and thunderstorms.

Winds are expected from the northwest at 5–10 m/s. The temperature range for the night is 16–21 degrees, and daytime temperatures are forecasted to rise to 26–31 degrees, with the western region reaching 22–25 degrees.
