The scale of the battle was enhanced by the inclusion of horses, which were integral to the historical portrayal, including representations of Lithuanian Highlanders. The Lithuanian army has been involved in the commemoration and reenactment of the Battle of Grunwald since 2008. This year’s roster of participants was determined through a formal selection process.
