According to a recent report issued by the Ministry, the composition of the Innovation Agency’s governing body has been outlined for the 2026–2031 term. The new board will comprise seven members, ensuring a blend of specialized expertise. The structure includes four independent members—Alexander Golod, Eglė Pavydė, Ramojus Reimeris, and Daiva Vyšniauskienė—alongside three representatives appointed from various ministries: Paulius Petrauskas, Regina Valutytė, and Taurimas Valys.
The Innovation Agency is recognized for its critical function in bolstering Lithuania’s overall competitiveness, fostering its innovation ecosystem, and advancing international cooperation efforts. The Ministry noted that the selection process for this board was designed to integrate extensive experience across several domains, including international relations, private sector business operations, innovation policy development, and strategic management. Minister of Economy and Innovation, Edvinas Grikšas, stated that the diverse professional backgrounds of the appointees—who possess established experience in business, innovation, and strategic planning—are anticipated to significantly enhance the value delivered to both the national business sector and the state.
