The final determination regarding the prices for the services offered by the new Kaunas IN SA entity rests with the City Council of Kaunas. According to information presented by Aušrinė Kustienė of the City Council’s Investment and Projects Department, the proposed rates are set to be lower than those currently in effect in Palanga. Ms.
Kustienė explained that the revisions to the services provided by Kaunas IN SA are comprehensive. The adjustments incorporate updates to existing offerings to align with current market conditions, alongside the establishment of new pricing structures for planned review ranges. These revised prices are detailed in a project of decision intended for the Council’s approval.
Specific examples relate to ticketing for the Dainų šventė event in Kaunas. Under the proposed structure, a single-use adult ticket would cost 12 euros. For children aged four to fifteen, as well as students, seniors, and individuals with disabilities, the ticket price is set at 8 euros.
Furthermore, the proposal includes rates for family packages, such as one accommodating two adults and two children. The presentation emphasizes that these changes reflect an effort to adjust the financial framework of the cultural offerings while maintaining accessibility for the community. The City Council’s vote will finalize the operational prices for these cultural services within Kaunas.
