The VMI announces property declarations: the list of the richest Lithuanian residents has been revealed

According to Martynas Endrijaitis, Deputy Head of the VMI, the submission of annual property declarations remains a key obligation for residents. For the reporting year, approximately 96,000 residents were required to submit their property declarations pertaining to current duties. Data indicates that 85% of the total required submissions were completed by the deadline.

A smaller group, comprising about 1,900 residents, has not yet filed their property declarations. Mr. Endrijaitis noted that among these outstanding submissions, the statements of 94 individuals are slated for public release.

He advised the public to submit any pending property declarations as soon as possible to ensure compliance. The VMI emphasized that the official method for submitting these declarations is through the VMI Electronic Declaration system. While comprehensive data regarding property declarations is made available to the public, the specific details concerning various property groups—including residential houses, land plots, share values, and cash holdings in credit institutions—are published only for those declarations that have been formally received and submitted.

This process ensures that all reported data reflects officially filed information from the residents.
