Vilnius Regional Police reported the discovery of a deceased woman on the evening of June 30th. At approximately 7:40 p.m., authorities located the body of a woman, born in 1961, at a residence on I. Kanto al.
The body was found in a state of decomposition. The initial investigation into the incident was prompted by a concerned friend. This friend reported to emergency services after being unable to establish contact with the woman in the Pilaitė area since the previous Friday.
According to the friend’s account, attempts to reach the woman proved unsuccessful, as the door was locked and the woman’s mobile phone was unresponsive. Following the friend’s report detailing the inability to reach her, a comprehensive response was mobilized. All available emergency services in the capital were dispatched to the location.
This deployment included personnel from the police department, firefighters, and emergency medical teams, who subsequently attended the scene on I. Kanto al. The discovery of the woman’s body necessitated the immediate involvement of multiple rescue agencies to manage the situation.
