The yacht associated with V. Putin crossed the waters of Denmark: the convoy was accompanied by Russian warships

The Great Belt was crossed on the night of June 29. Subsequently, the vessel sailed past Anholt Island with a trajectory aimed toward Grenen, the northernmost point of Jutland. Danish Radio (DR) confirmed the ship’s movement through corroboration from multiple sources, including shipping surveillance projects and photographic evidence obtained from shore observers.

The vessel was observed as part of a convoy that was accompanied by the Russian frigate and patrol vessel, “Vojevoda.”

The Danish naval forces’ patrol vessel P521, named “Freja,” has been monitoring the convoy since Sunday morning, a surveillance role also undertaken by German coastal guard forces. “Vojevoda” is identified as an emergency rescue ship belonging to the Russian Maritime Rescue Service, having been commissioned in 2025. In 2017, the Russian publication Kommersant had reported that certain sources viewed this specific project with considerable speculation, suggesting it might be a dual-purpose special ship or potentially a high-ranking naval vessel.

The crossing of the Great Belt marks a significant navigational point, and the presence of multiple international maritime assets suggests ongoing monitoring of the movement.
