Police authorities in raseiniai have reported an incident involving the theft and damage to three cars located on Vilnius Street. The incidents occurred over the period spanning from Saturday through to Sunday night. The vehicles targeted were two Mercedes Benz E220 models, manufactured in 2017 and 2020, alongside one BMW 640D, which dates back to 2014.
According to initial reports, the theft involved specific components from the vehicles. From one of the Mercedes Benz models, the front headlights were stolen. The BMW 640D sustained damage from the removal of both its front headlights and its steering wheel.
The total financial value associated with the damage sustained by the three cars is currently undergoing a formal assessment by authorities. Following the discovery of the damage, the Raseiniai Theft Police initiated a preliminary investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the break-ins. Authorities are continuing their efforts to ascertain the full scope of the loss and identify any responsible parties connected to the vandalism and theft.
