Two teenagers were injured in accidents in Vilnius – both were taken to the hospital

Two separate traffic incidents occurred in Vilnius on the same day, involving different types of vehicles. The first incident took place around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Darbininkų and Šaltkalvių streets in Vilnius.

A minor, born in 2012, operating a Sur-Ron motor scooter, entered the main roadway and subsequently collided with a BMW 530D E60 sedan. The vehicle was being driven by an individual born in 1993. Following the collision, the motor scooter driver was injured and transported to the hospital for treatment.

A second accident was reported later that day, around 8:30 p.m., at the intersection of Gurių and Juodupio streets. Here, a car, driven by a woman born in 1956, struck and injured a 14-year-old girl, who was cycling on a RockRider 120 bicycle at a designated pedestrian crossing. In summary, the first accident involved a Sur-Ron motor scooter colliding with a BMW 530D E60 car in Vilnius, resulting in the motor scooter driver being injured.

The second incident involved a car driven by a woman colliding with a cyclist at a pedestrian crossing. Both events highlight varied traffic safety concerns within the city.
