Three deputy ministers will continue SADM work, T. Vinokuras joes the team

According to the Ministry of Social Security and Labour (MSAL), T. Vinokuras has been appointed to oversee key areas including social insurance, pensions, cash assistance, and housing assistance. Prior to this role, Vinokuras served as a counselor within the team of former Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, and he also worked as a press officer for the LSDP.

Several other key positions within the Minister’s office have been filled. Elzbieta Zurovska-Pudziuniene, who has previously led the Prime Minister’s office, has been entrusted with the duties of the Minister’s Chancellor. Furthermore, Ignas Algirdas Dobrovolskas, who previously served as a counselor to the Government, has taken on the role of the Minister’s press officer.

Sources report that I. Ruginiene claims responsibility for assembling the entire team structure. Additionally, a portion of the SADM is slated to remain within the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

In his capacity as the Minister’s social insurance and labour viceminister, Vinokuras brings a background that includes previous advisory work to the Prime Minister’s office. The restructuring signals significant shifts in the administrative leadership supporting the minister. The appointments reflect a reorganization of departmental responsibilities within the government structure.

These changes detail specific lines of authority, confirming that Vinokuras will manage crucial social welfare portfolios. The appointments are part of a broader effort to define roles following changes at the prime ministerial level, ensuring continuity in the administration of social services.
