A drunk man driving a motorcycle crashed into a ditch in Panevėžys region

According to reports from the Panevėžys County Police, an incident occurred on the morning of July 8th at approximately 8:25 a.m. in the village of Mitriūnai, located within the Panevėžys district. The police reported that a drunk man, born in 1988, was operating a motorcycle identified as an “Aprilia Leonardo 125.” During the incident, the vehicle reportedly veered into a ditch, resulting in the motorcycle overturning.

Following the accident, emergency personnel located the man, who required immediate medical attention. Upon assessment, officers determined that the man’s blood alcohol content measured at 1.99 promils. The police have since initiated a formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The man is currently facing potential legal consequences stemming from the incident. Authorities have indicated that if found guilty, the individual could face a possible prison sentence of up to one year.
