A new poll shows how party ratings have changed after the prime minister’s shakeup

Polling data suggests that if the Seimas elections were held this coming Sunday, the majority of respondents indicated their preference for the opposition party, Homeland Union–Lithuanian Christian Democrats (TS-LKD). According to the survey, this specific party is projected to receive 16.5% of the vote, marking an increase from the 15.5% support recorded in May. Following TS-LKD, the Social Democrats are positioned in second place, expected to garner 11.4% of the vote, an increase from their May polling figure of 8.9%.

The Liberal Movement holds the third spot, with 8.5% support, showing growth from 7.6% in the previous month’s survey. Further down the rankings, Nemuno Aušra is anticipated to receive 5.7% of the vote, representing a slight decrease from the 6.3% support seen in May. Completing the top five is the Lithuanian Peasant and Greens Union (LVŽS), a coalition partner of the LSDP, which is projected to receive 5.5% of the vote, down marginally from 5.7% in May.

These figures provide an indication of which political party currently holds the strongest support among surveyed voters. The data allows observers to gauge how the electorate intends to cast their vote across the various political platforms. The consistent tracking of these percentages helps analysts understand shifts in voter sentiment regarding which party is best positioned to secure a mandate in the upcoming election.
