After possible complaints about Ambassador G. Varvulis’s behavior – the Seimas URK’s reaction: will request a study

Reports have emerged concerning potential misconduct involving G. Varvuolis at his workplace. According to the news portal “Delfi,” sources indicated that several embassy employees lodged formal complaints with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

These complaints centered on allegations regarding his professional behavior, specifically citing instances of perceived disrespect, an overly loud demeanor, and demands for extended working hours. In response to these concerns, the employees also reportedly communicated with the MFA’s general inspector on a remote basis. During these discussions, the inspector allegedly committed to implementing specific measures designed to resolve the existing workplace tensions.

Despite these reports, it has been noted that an official investigation into G. Varvuolis has not yet commenced. When approached for comment regarding the nature of the complaints lodged against him, the ambassador himself declined to provide any statement.

However, sources suggest that the ambassador is aware of the underlying tensions circulating within the embassy premises. The situation remains under observation following the formal complaints made about his conduct.
