Police authorities reported two separate incidents of theft that occurred in Vilnius on Sunday. The first incident, reported around 12:27 in Savanorių prospektas, involved a woman who entered a resident’s apartment, allegedly posing as a social worker. According to police statements, this individual deceptively entered the apartment and stole an amount exceeding 3,000 euros.
Later on the same day, at approximately 14:00, another theft was reported in Geležių village, located within the Zujūnų seniūnija in the Vilnius district. Following a visit by two men, residents discovered that 1,900 euros and various pieces of gold jewelry were missing from the apartment. Collectively, the reported losses from these two incidents amount to a total of 6,900 euros.
Police have initiated preliminary investigations into these thefts. The reports detail incidents of deception and burglary across different parts of the Vilnius area. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding both thefts to determine the full scope of the loss.
