M. Sinkevičius revealed which ministers of the future government will meet with the president(2)

During the session on Thursday, when the candidate for Prime Minister was presented to the Seimas, the leader of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP) addressed the composition of the impending government. The leader stated that several ministers already have nominations that have received approval from the President, indicating they are expected to remain in the future cabinet. While the leader declined to name specific individuals, he offered commentary on the process for remaining cabinet members.

He told journalists that those ministers who continue their service may not be invited to the President’s office in the immediate term. Specifically, he noted, “I was definitely told… those who will not be invited next week, probably, will not be invited, because they will continue to work.”

Earlier, G.

Nausėda presented the candidacy for Prime Minister to the Seimas, emphasizing the necessity of “responsible leadership” for the nation. The statements provided by the LSDP leader offer insight into the ongoing appointments and stability of the executive branch as the country moves toward forming a new government structure following the presentation of the prime ministerial candidate.
