Apollo Group was allowed to acquire the companies that run Restaurant 12 and Caif Cafe

According to council reports, the CCF cafes are operated by the Caif Cafe chain across Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, and Marijampolė, where the chain also provides catering services. Concurrently, Resto 12 manages ten public catering locations within Vilnius and Kaunas.

Furthermore, the Apollo Group maintains a significant restaurant portfolio in the country, encompassing brands such as KFC, Delano, and Can Can Pizza. In regulatory matters, the Competition Council confirmed receiving a notification regarding an intended concentration on June 16th. Beyond the domestic market structure, other business developments were noted.

In separate reports, DHL addressed its acquisition of Venipak, providing details on potential name changes and employee transitions. Another transaction involved A. Landsbergienė’s company purchasing a school building from the BaltCap fund.

Regarding the assessment of a separate transaction, an official stated that, after evaluating the circumstances, she concluded that the proposed transaction did not align with the public interest.
