The department’s records also document several other separate emergency calls. These incidents included a gas cylinder explosion in Vilnius, a fire that consumed a two-story residence, and a separate instance where a light vehicle experienced a fire, resulting in the soaking of its front headlights and engine cover. Furthermore, firefighters from Klaipėda were called out again at approximately 1:01 p.m.
to manage another significant fire requiring extinguishment efforts. These varied responses illustrate the breadth of services provided by the department. The timely arrival of firefighters was critical in mitigating damage across these different scenes, ranging from vehicle blazes to structural fires.
